About Us
"When I was a new breastfeeding mother I was
very concerned and nervous about how to nurse my newborn in public. My first attempt at nursing while out on
the go, I sat in my van with the air conditioning running. Faced with the challenges of having a
new post-pregnancy body and the desire to nurse in public with confidence, my
mind raced to find a solution.
After much thought and increased experience with nursing in public, I
finally discovered the idea for The Belly Hugger."

time mom. Brandy found herself without a teaching position at 7
months pregnant. After several months of dedicating herself to being a new
mom, she began planning a business relating to all things baby. This led
